RWTH Aachen Start-up Wins the Largest Business Plan Competition Worldwide

In the final round of the world's largest business plan competition "Rice Business Plan Competition" in the United States, the team Medical Adhesive Revolution (MAR) from the RWTH University managed to win against its 41 competitors. A total of 1200 competitiors entered the contest in the preliminary competition.

The PhD student Marius Rosenberg, also the managing director of the winning company Medical Adhesive Revolution GmbH, and Alexander Schuller, another doctoral student at the Entrepreneurship Groupe (WIN) of the Faculty of Economics and director of the RWTH Aachen Entrepreneurship Centre, received the price of around $ 500,000 at the Rice University in Houston, Texas. Marius Rosenberg and Alexander Schuller presented their business plan to interested investors and other entrepreneurs. Furthermore, they answered to the critical questions of the jury and the approximately 800 guests in the audience.
