Exploring Technology, Policy and Management

TIME members Malte Brettel, Robin Kleer and Frank Piller took part in the workshop on Technology, Policy and Management at Stevens Institute in New Jersey, USA from October 28-30.

In this workshop, we discussed strategic issues regarding research, teaching and communication in our field, with partners from other technical Universities (Stevens Institute, Massachusetts Institute of Technology, George Mason University, Carnegie Mellon University, University of Arizona, National University of Singapore and the University of Delft ).

The workshop is part of an assessment, organized by the University of Delft with the aim of examining the current state-of-the-art of Technology, Policy and Management research to determine what research is needed to prepare to meet the challenges of the future in collaboration with key international players in the field. Next to a meeting in a wonderful location with great view on Manhattan, we had very fruitful discussions on our research agenda and collaboration opportunities.
