Mission
The TIME Research Area is committed to excellence in research and teaching in the fields of technology and innovation management, marketing, and entrepreneurship.
We seek to provide scholars, practitioners and students with valuable evidence-based insights into the process of new product, service and business model ideation, development, design, commercialization, and continuous optimization, both within newly founded and established organizations.
We provide an inspiring and stimulating environment to generate and learn about novel answers to the most pressing questions in our field and society at large.
In our research, we adopt rigorous mixed method designs combining quantitative, qualitative, and experimental approaches whenever appropriate.
We cultivate close collaborations with partners from academia, industry, and the public sector, both in Germany and abroad. In our research, we draw the strengths of RWTH Aachen University in engineering and the natural sciences, and strive to contribute to its vision of becoming a truly interdisciplinary, integrated university of technology.
The TIME Research Area is also strongly committed to the overall mission of the School of Business and Economics.
