Based on multi-stakeholder theory, the success factors and barriers in Open Service Systems will be studied. In open service systems, companies need to collaborate to be successful. However, this leads to new types of
motives for cooperation. Companies and their employees must collaborate in order to offer their products to the consumer. This type of open innovation is not necessarily based on the motivation of participants to share their experiences with other companies. Rather, it could be referred to as „forced“ cooperation. It will be examined, to what extent the individual is driven by his/her own motivation and what factors or contexts would decrease the quality of cooperation.
