Documenting Research and Writing for Academic Journals
The seminar primarily targets early career researchers (e.g., Master and PhD students, Postdocs) in the social sciences who are interested in an academic career. Participants will learn how to plan, conduct, document, and write down research aimed to be published in leading academic journals. To this end, current recommendations (e.g., Open Science), motivational issues (e.g., how to write efficiently), organizational factors (the academic journal “system”) and best practice methods will be presented and discussed. The seminar combines theoretical (how to write) and practical (actual writing) sessions and is largely interactive.
