Corporate Venture Capital – What it is and how to get it

Corporate venture capital is the direct investment of corporate funds into external startups. As part of a firm’s strategy, corporate venture capitalists often take an equity stake in the startup they invest in. With corporate venture capital comes a variety of attributes and outcomes that warrant further research in the area. Possible thesis topics include, but are not limited to drivers of corporate venture capital, key success factors or comparisons among different capital sources.
