Consumers are increasingly concerned about the impact of their consumption choices. In this context, a variety of sustainability labels have been introduced to help consumers make more sustainable product choices. Sustainability labels (such as the carbon footprint label) aim to provide information in an easy-to-understand format with the goal of promoting more sustainable consumption choices. This gives rise to a variety of research questions that can be investigated as part of a bachelor's or master's thesis. Possible research questions can address the effectiveness of different sustainability labels, their impact on product evaluations, as well as the role of different forms of presentation.
