Alan Mulally Leadership in Engineering Scholarship
On July 1, 2014, Alan Mulally stepped down as President and Chief Executive Officer of Ford Motor Company. To honor his outstanding service to Ford, the Company stablished a new global scholarship program – The Alan Mulally Leadership in Engineering Scholarship.
Framework
The funding supports the scholarship recipient with $10,000 US. Moreover, the scholarship recipient will be connected with the Ford Blue Oval Scholars database and initiative, which allows the scholarship winner to maintain an ongoing relationship with Ford and other high-qualified scholars.
Who can apply?

2nd year Bachelor student/ 1st year Master student with a GPA of 1,5 and higher

Major related to Automotive Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or Computer Science Engineering)

Strong communication skills (i.e. English Proficient) and outstanding grades

Leadership role in academic or community based- settings (ex. on-campus organizations, community volunteer work, other engineering related activities)
Additional Requirements
1 page essay (400-500 words) describing your interest in Automotive Engineering, leadership role(s) held, and why you are the best candidate for this scholarship
