Make it Real: The International Entrepreneurship Challenge with the ESADE Business School

The ESADE Business School and RWTH Aachen invite you to take part in the international “Make it Real Challenge”. The challenge brings together founders, investors, advisors, experts and students that are looking to start up a company. In sum, what awaits you?

  • 2 intensive weekends, 4 days; hosted by each institution, in Aachen and Barcelona
  • Working on real business projects with high profile business students
  • Coaching from successful entrepreneurs and expert entrepreneurship professors

The workshop is your chance to meet students from all over the world, get hands-on experience in new venture ideas, learn from successful entrepreneurs and meet entrepreneurship professors Malte Brettel and Jan Brinckmann to coach you and exchange ideas in an experimental and informal setting.

If you convince the judges with your project you will be connected with angel investors to fund your new start-up.

When and where and what will happen

9-10 June @ESADE Business School in Barcelona

During the first weekend, business ideas are presented. You will form teams with high profile business students and get started on making your idea a reality. You will look into use cases, validate your idea and receive coaching from successful start-ups and founders.

23-24 June @RWTH Aachen in Aachen

During your second weekend, you will meet successful German entrepreneurs and deep dive into one of two tracks. You either create and execute a sales strategy or perform a marketing campaign (eg., facebook) with the guidance of coaches.

Here you have the opportunity to give examples of projects from the past or an idea you would like to work on and convince us why you should participate in the Make it Real Challenge.

Costs

For ESADE Business School students and RWTH Aachen students there is a participation fee of 50€; for all other participants there is a participation fee of 950€.

Flight and accommodation expenses are to be taken care by participants. You will have the opportunity to be hosted by one of the participants during the weekend in Barcelona and host a participant during the weekend in Aachen. This way you will keep costs low while making meaningful connections.
