Abstract

Start-up acquisitions have become an increasingly important vehicle for established companies to complement internal innovative capacity and enhance corporate performance. This work advances research on how to successfully integrate start-ups while not destroying their innovative capacity; how to design effective interaction mechanisms; and how to decide on start-up management retention.
