"Flipping the Classroom" - Excellent Teaching for Everybody

Last year, RWTH Aachen University Technology and Innovation Management Group (RWTH TIM) has begun testing a video-supported lecture "Introduction to General Management". Instead of having to sit in a lecture hall, students get the opportunity to learn from carefully crafted videos - whenever, wherever and how often they want. This frees up a lot of time that is being used for more intense discussions between lecturers and students than would be possible under normal circumstances. And now, this lecture of the future is being made available to everybody. In cooperation with online-learning plattform iversity.org, RWTH TIM has opened registration for the course which will start in Fall 2013 - for free. Besides the learning videos featuring Prof. Dr. Frank T. Piller, participants will get access to an optional self-assessment tool as well as the opportunity to attend up to eight interactive lectures here at RWTH Aachen.
