The paper entitled “Joining Forces or Going it Alone? On the Interplay between Collaboration Partner Types, Governance Modes and Internal R&D” has been accepted for publication in the Journal of Product Innovation Management, VHB Journal Rating A, one of the leading international outlets for innovation management research. The paper is co-authored by Torsten-Oliver Salge (RWTH Aachen University), David Antons (also RWTH Aachen), Judith Gesing (Ruhr-University Bochum), Mario Rese (ESMT Berlin) and Erk Piening (ESCP Berlin). Embedded within the context of open innovation, this study examines the complex interplay between external partner type, inter-organisational governance mode and internal R&D.
