Connectivity, originally used to describe the connection between two electronic devices, has become a social concept. It is also used to describe the intra- and inter-organizational interactions (Kolb 2008) and as such has formed the term hyperconnectivity, the use of many systems and devices that enable a constant connection to persons e.g. via social networks and to other sources of information.
The thesis should examine the evolution of the concept of connectivity and should present the various effects of person to person, person to machine and machine to machine interaction based on current research.
