Throughout history, Entrepreneurship has always been a polarizing topic with ethical dilemmas involved. Nowadays, scandals pile up in Silicon Valley, the mecca of Entrepreneurship. There seems to be a fine line between Entrepreneurship and criminality. Also in Europe and Germany, start-up scandals have gained increasing attention and unfortunately caused huge damage! Behavioral ethics seek to understand how people behave when confronted with ethical dilemmas. More research is needed on the intersection between Ethics and Entrepreneurship aimed at delivering deeper understanding of the ethical cognition of entrepreneurs.
