Due to raising customer requirements and increased uncertainty participation in Business Ecosystems have become highly relevant in recent years to secure companies’ success. However, some areas of day to days life have remained unchanged due to massive regulations, whether political- or market-driven. This master (or bachelor) thesis will evaluate existing research on business ecosystems and corresponding topics such as coopetition (cooperation between competitors) and derive theoretical and practical implications.
