Artificial intelligence (AI), digitization and emerging technologies have the potential to change healthcare for good. However, to apply artificial intelligence in healthcare, it is necessary to address the economic viability and possible implementation levels. The aim of this thesis is to identify usage dimensions of AI-based speech recognition systems in the clinical context (1), to perform a cost-benefit analysis for the implementation (2) and to derive the economic viability (3).
