Climate change can only be tackled through renewable energies. In order to counteract the weak points such as storage as well as transport, hydrogen is the ideal solution. Electrical energy can be converted to hydrogen, stored, transported more easily, and used elsewhere. However, the complex value proposition of the hydrogen economy cannot be carried by one company alone (see electromobility). By establishing an initially regional hydrogen ecosystem, all relevant partners can be connected and thus jointly focus their strengths on the market.

By means of a study within the framework of the Future Cluster Hydrogen, influences on technology communication are to be investigated, evaluated and classified. For this purpose, first a 3D model of the hydrogen landscape including all technologies along the value chain shall be conceptualized and assembled (design will be provided by CAD). This model and further information material will then be compared with other possibilities of technology communication in a field study.
The goal is to find out if and how the use of a haptic 3D model influences the attitude towards a complex system and how user acceptance can be changed by the haptic experience.
