Award of the SEW-EURODRIVE-Foundation


This week, Aras Erkin, doctoral student at the Marketing Group (MAR), was honored with a research award by the SEW-EURODRIVE-Foundation for his excellent scientific work within his master’s thesis.

In his thesis, Mr. Erkin examines the motivational factors why people participate in overnight queues. Qualitative interviews and a field study conducted at an official Apple store during the launch of the iPhone 5S have provided first evidence why people are motivated to join such queues.
