Dr. J Nils Foege receives Prize for Interdisciplinary Research of the School of Business and Economics

Dr. J. Nils Foege, Assistant Professor at the Business Management Group of the Westfälische Wilhelms-Universität Münster and former doctoral student of the Innovation, Strategy, and Organization Group, has been awarded the prize for Interdisciplinary Research.

The School of Business and Economics at RWTH Aachen University awarded the prize for the research that he conducted during his doctoral studies. As part of his investigations, J. Nils Foege employed management concepts and methodologies to examine the interdisciplinary collaboration of Organization with inventors from Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics-related fields and deduce practical implications for improving these endeavors. Furthermore, he linked management approaches with medical insights to improve treatment processes in hospitals by increasing the patients’ involvement.
